Last week, the BBGM Theater and Lobby were transformed into a glowing celebration of creativity, collaboration, and imagination during our Iridescence 2026 Art Exhibition.
上周，校园小剧场和大堂化身为一片流光溢彩的艺术天地。这里是"Iridescence虹彩2026"艺术展览的舞台，是创意、协作与想象力共同汇聚的盛典。

As visitors entered the space, they were welcomed into a world of light and color—where student-created, glass-inspired sculptures shimmered and transformed when illuminated. What began as simple recycled materials became luminous works of art, reflecting the curiosity and creativity of our students across all grade levels.
走进展览空间，观者仿佛步入另一个世界。学生们亲手创作的玻璃风格雕塑在光照下熠熠生辉，随光线流转而变幻万千。那些曾经平凡的回收材料，在孩子们的巧手与奇思之下，蜕变为令人屏息的艺术珍品，映照出学生内心深处蓬勃的好奇心与创造力。

At the heart of the exhibition was a powerful idea: transformation. Through a carefully designed series of learning experiences, students explored how light interacts with materials, how color can shift and change, and how individual contributions can come together to form something greater. Working collaboratively, each class created sculptural installations that combined imagination, craftsmanship, and shared responsibility.

本次展览的核心主题，是蜕变。通过一系列精心设计的学习体验，学生们探索光与材料之间的对话，感受色彩的流动与变幻，也亲历个体的力量如何在协作中汇聚、升华。每个班级以想象为笔、以匠心为墨，共同完成了一件件兼具美感与意涵的装置艺术作品。

This project extended far beyond art-making. Through structured activities and rotating art centers, students engaged in observation, design, reflection, and communication—strengthening both their artistic skills and their ability to express ideas. Language development and discussion were naturally integrated throughout the process, allowing students to describe, reflect, and connect their learning in meaningful ways.
而这一切，远不止于艺术本身。通过结构化的活动与轮转式艺术工作坊，学生们在观察、设计、反思与表达中全面成长：艺术技能得以精进，思维与表达的能力也同步提升。语言学习与课堂讨论自然融入创作历程，让孩子们学会用语言描述所见、反思所感，为作品注入更深的意义。

The exhibition also featured a special film experience, bringing the project to life through storytelling, animation, and music. In collaboration with the Music program, students contributed to a musical piece inspired by the message: “You shouldn’t be here all alone—let’s find you a place to shine.” This theme resonated throughout the exhibition, reinforcing the idea that creativity thrives through connection and collaboration.

展览期间，一场特别的影像体验将整个项目带入新的维度，以故事、动画与音乐共同讲述这段创作旅程。学生们还与音乐课程共同创作了一首充满温情的音乐作品，灵感源自这样一句话： "你不应该独自在这里—让我们为你找到闪耀的地方。"这一主题贯穿展览始终，道出了创意因连结而生、因协作而盛的真谛。

As part of the BASIS International and Bilingual School Collaborative Art Festival (BIBS·CAF), Iridescence 2026 represents BBGM’s commitment to innovative, student-centered learning. It highlights not only what our students can create, but how they think, communicate, and grow together.
作为中国·贝赛思国际/双语学校艺术节（BIBS·CAF）的重要组成部分，这次展览是深贝外创新教育理念的生动体现。它所呈现的，不仅是学生的创作成果，更是他们思考的深度、表达的温度，以及在共同成长中迸发出的无限可能。

Through light, color, and imagination, our students have shown us that even the simplest materials can become something extraordinary.
光芒、色彩，与想象，孩子们用行动告诉我们，最寻常的材料，也能绽放出非凡的光芒。

In Drama class, students from G4 to G6 brought three beloved classics to the stage: Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and Charlotte's Web. Immersed in these vibrant story worlds, they embarked on a remarkable journey of self-discovery. 

戏剧课堂上，G4至G6年级的学生们倾情演绎了《彼得·潘》《爱丽丝梦游仙境》《夏洛特的网》三部经典剧作。他们沉浸于鲜活的故事世界，踏上了一场探寻成长的奇妙旅程。

Through careful script study and dedicated rehearsal, students gradually inhabited their characters' inner lives, learning to convey emotion through eye contact and express personality through movement. When the curtain rose, their performances were vivid and heartfelt, moving audiences and earning enthusiastic applause. 
通过反复研读剧本、勤加练习，学生们逐渐深入角色的内心世界，学会了用眼神传递情感、用肢体语言刻画人物性格。正式登台时，他们的表演生动传神、情感真挚，深深打动了在场观众，赢得阵阵掌声。

Beyond the spotlight, students pushed past their limits, building chemistry through collaboration and refining their craft through practice. The lessons drawn from these timeless stories will nourish them as they step onto life's broader stage. 

舞台上精彩纷呈，幕后，学生们不断突破自我，在合作中培养默契，于打磨中锤炼技艺、坚定信心。从经典故事中汲取的成长养分，将成为伴随他们前行的精神滋养，助力其迈向更广阔的人生舞台。
