Our campus with excitement and pride as we celebrated the outstanding achievements of G1-G10 students at the Q1 Awards Ceremony.

校园洋溢着喜悦与荣耀，**学季颁奖典礼圆满举办，共同见证G1-G10同学们在本学季结出的累累硕果。

The ceremony honored students in two key areas: Academic Awards and Character Awards. For academic achievement, students averaging 90% or higher earned membership in the prestigious 90+ Club, while those with the highest overall results received Honors Awards. The Character Awards, focused on Respect, Integrity, and Honesty, recognized students nominated by teachers for consistently demonstrating these core values in their daily school life.

典礼颁发的奖项涵盖“学业成就奖”与“品格卓越奖”两大类别。学业成就奖表彰学业优异、名列前茅的同学，品格卓越奖聚焦于“尊重”、“正直”、“诚信”三项核心价值观，由老师们推选，表彰在日常学习和生活中，真正做到了尊重他人、正直做人、坚守诚信的榜样学生。

During the celebrations, the Division Heads and Deans addressed the community, praising students’ dedication and growth while encouraging everyone to reach even higher next quarter. Their message carried heartfelt congratulations to award recipients and a powerful reminder for all: every student’s effort and steady progress matters, whether they stepped onto the stage or not, as each step builds the foundation for future success. Adding to the significance, the HOS personally presented certificates to Honors Award winners, highlighting our school’s deep commitment to academic achievement and student development.

A special highlight this year was our Primary’s inaugural team of student hosts. Patrick X., Macy L., Wendy C., and Nadiia Q. brought remarkable polish to both ceremonies through their fluent delivery and poised stage presence. They set a tremendous example for younger students while embodying the very confidence and well-rounded abilities we nurture.

Beyond recognizing individual effort and character, this event celebrated the powerful partnership between home and school. Gentle autumn breezes welcomed our Ellie class as we introduced new seasonal expressions during morning circle time: "The temperature feels cooler today." "The weather is windy and cloudy today." To deepen the children's connection with seasonal transitions, we extended our classroom to the garden. Amidst authentic autumn surroundings, they honed observational skills and articulated discoveries with newfound confidence. 

秋风习习，小象班的晨圈活动也开启了新的篇章，认识并学习了新的表达——“今天感觉很凉爽”、“The temperature feels cooler today.”、“今天是多云又刮风的一天”、“The weather is windy and cloudy today.”。为了让小象们更真切地感知季节更迭带来的变化，我们推开教室的门，将课堂延伸至户外花园。在这里，孩子们将在真实的秋日情境中探索、学习，点亮观察的眼睛，放飞表达的声音。

Upon entering the garden, the children’s curiosity immediately awakened. They eagerly shared observations:  "The chili plants have been replaced by flowers!" "I see blossoms in red, purple, and yellow." "Look—there’s an enormous snail!" "The grass feels prickly when I sit on it." Engaging directly with the crisp air and rustling foliage, our elephants developed tangible understanding of autumn. These sensory experiences sparked authentic expression and enriched their perception of the season’s essence.

步入花园，小象们立刻被眼前的景象吸引，好奇的目光四处流转。他们按捺不住兴奋，纷纷向老师分享自己的新发现：“老师，这里的辣椒不见了？现在变成花朵了！”、“我看到了红色、紫色、黄色的花朵。”、“老师，我发现了好大一只蜗牛！”、“老师，草地坐上去扎扎的。”置身于真实的秋风秋景中，孩子们触摸温度，感受天气。这份亲身体验，打开了他们主动表达的闸门，也让他们对“秋天”的模样和气息，有了更鲜活、更深刻的体悟。

As scarves danced in the wind and leaves swirled underfoot, our autumn songs gained deeper meaning. The children articulated their understanding: "Leaves of crimson, gold, and flame, drifting down in autumn’s name." Sheltered beneath the trees, imagination flourished. They embodied vibrant butterflies, moving rhythmically to our melody: "Like butterflies on whispered breeze, we dance beneath the trembling trees."

当凉爽的秋风拂过纱巾与落叶，或在拾捡、抛洒树叶的欢愉中，小象们对歌曲旋律与意境的感受更加深刻，也由此理解了“什么是秋天”——“黄色、橙色、红色的叶，微风一吹，落下一片。”绿荫环绕，为小象们的想象力提供了丰沃的土壤。他们与歌曲产生共鸣，化身为五彩的蝴蝶，在秋日的旋律中翩然起舞——“就像一只蝴蝶，张开翅膀追。”
